Writer and Theatre Maker

Chiara Vascotto is the author of the plays Alice in Tinderland (Battersea Arts Centre, 2025) and The Apprentice (Riverside Studios, 2023) and of several flash memoirs including Lucky (Litro magazine), The Sea Hand (Amaranth Magazine) and Kadamati (adapted for Spotify).

A life-long student of dance, Chiara seeks to bring physicality and rhythm to her work. She has performed in non professional acting and dancing roles, including a performance with The Michael Clark Company and a choreography by Akram Khan.

She holds an MSc in Anthropology from the London School of Economics and is a skilled interviewer and facilitator. She comes from Trieste, Italy, and lives in London.
